Black and white movies never held much appeal for me, but now that I am older I realize that was because people sucked at acting back then. I mean really sucked. Awful stuff, especially in the '30s. And please do not ask somebody to die in one of the films. Impossible not to laugh. Being sick on a couch for two days makes you watch ridiculous stuff on television. And writing words? Fugheddaboudit. There are no words right now. I am frightened that it might be because I am — oh god, I can barely say it — happy? I fucking hope not.
